Interventional Pain Management Specialist
Dr. Aarons is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist. He has additional Board Certification in the treatment and management of chronic pain by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Dr. Aarons studied Biomedical Engineering as an undergraduate where he obtained a B.S. in Engineering at the Catholic University of America. He studied medicine at the University of Maryland in Baltimore where he obtained his M.D. degree. Dr. Aarons did his residency in Anesthesiology at the prestigious Duke University in Durham, NC, where he did additional training in Pain Management as well.
For over 15 years, Dr. Aarons has been practicing Anesthesiology and Interventional Pain Management in Broward County, Florida. He treats a wide variety of chronic pain problems including herniated and bulging discs, spinal stenosis, facet disease, nerve damage and injury, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) and reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD). Dr. Aarons uses a wide variety of interventional pain management techniques including epidural steroid injections, facet and medial branch blocks, nerve blocks, rhizotomy and trigger point injections.
